Кой обеси Апостола на свободата и кой е извършил погребението му

Историческите извори, осветляващи живота и делото на Апостола на българската свобода Васил Левски, категорично сочат, че датата на неговата смърт е 18 февруари (6 февруари стар стил) 1873 г. От десетилетия, обаче, годишнините от гибелта му се отбелязват официално на 19 февруари.
Причната за това объркване е в непознаването на календарите.
През 1916 г., когато България преминава от Юлианския към Григорианския календар или от стар към нов стил, се приема поправка от 13 дни. За събитията, случили се преди 1 март 1900 г. обаче, необходимата поправка е 12 дни. Въпреки това, за някои от тях погрешно се добавят 13 дни. Така е станало и с датата на обесването на големия ни национален герой.
Присъдата му е изпълнена в околностите на тогавашна София, а мястото на обесването е било в района на площада, където днес се издига негов паметник.
Васил Левски е обесен от циганина Бекир, който бил слуга при някой си Нисим – след Освобождението той бил доставчик на месо за зоологическата градина.
Манол Панчев и Атанас Новоселски – и двамата от Подуене, през август 1937 г. дават показания как бащите им са видели Левски на бесилото в петък да виси с потури и чепкен (вид македонски елек с украса от гайтани, б.а.) до 4 ч. след обед. После бил погребан около сеновала на гвардейския полк.
Всички ония, които по онова време са имали участта да увисват на въжето, са били погребвани от Кръстьо Кацара от махала „Мала чешма“, която работа той извършвал със своя ортак.

Югоизточна Добруджа е горе-долу област Добрич (под румънците позната под името окръг Базарджик) (според румънските "историци" и "географи" които смятат даже и гр. Тутракан като добруджанско селище, за разлика от бг. историци и географи които смятат гр. Силистра като най-западното населено място на Южна Добруджа.
През 1940 г. не само югоизточна а и югозападната част на "Добруджа" са върнати (а не "върнати"!!!) от Румъния на Бг. ("Добруджа" на румънските "историци" и "географи", тоест "югозападна Добруджа" = тогавашния румънски окръг Дуростор (=Дръстър) (дн. област Силистра).
